East Kootenay Volleyball Club

The Screening and Registration Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our volleyball community by overseeing the screening process for all coaches, team staff, and volunteers. This volunteer position is essential for maintaining a safe sporting environment and ensuring compliance with mandatory requirements set forth by Volleyball Alberta and Volleyball Canada.

This role works closely with the Club Administrator.

Responsibilities:

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation management.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide guidance to individuals navigating screening and Sportlomo registration processes.
• Familiarity with online platforms such as Sterling Backcheck, The Locker, and Sportlomo is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and ensuring compliance with mandatory screening requirements.

We're Looking For:

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Experience in Microsoft Excel is an asset
• Experience with Google Drive is an asset

Time Commitment: Approximately 2-3 hours per week at the beginning of the indoor season and 1-2 hours per month during the outdoor season.
