East Kootenay Volleyball Club

The Tournament and Event Coordinator plays a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and executing volleyball tournaments and events hosted by our club. This volunteer position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sports management and event coordination to contribute to the success of our club's competitive and community-building initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Willingness to collaborate and help support a vibrant volleyball community
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
• Previous experience in event coordination or sports management is desirable but not required.
• Availability to commit to the planning and execution of tournaments, including weekends and evenings as needed.

We're Looking For:

• Enthusiasm for volleyball and a commitment to promoting the sport.
• Passion for planning
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Experience in Microsoft Excel is an asset
• Experience with Google Drive is an asset

Time Commitment: Approximately 2-3 hours per month during the indoor and outdoor season and more hours leading up to the tournament or event.
